I tried deleting it, restart pc, then after restart when I want to access my mounted share drive, windows asks for username password, after re-entering I can go the share drive fine, however qnap icon still does not appear at ‘network’ like how it should be. I have checked credential manager, yes it have an entry there for my NAS. ![]() Nas still does not appear.ĭo i really need to download qfinder? I can access the nas through command prompt, start \\qnap - no problem. If you are using Windows XP SP1, please do the following Go to Control. ![]() I have rebooted windows pc, nas, and router. I can ping the them, but I cannot get to the NAS web interface. Or it could even be a misconfiguration on your NAS, so a soft reset 1 beep may do the trick? If you did not hear the second beep, there might be a hardware problem with the NAS. You will hear the first beep upon pressing the power button, and another beep about 2 minutes later. Once done, go qfinder explorer and check again. Turn on the NAS without hard disk drives. check if you have an entry there for your NAS. If not, then go start and type credential manager.
